The Medical Technology Department maintains the technical readiness of medical equipment and equipment necessary to perform services in the field of inpatient treatment by supervising the efficient operation of medical devices and apparatus.

 The department performs maintenance and periodic inspections of devices, removes failures in devices not covered by the warranty service or service contract, supervises the purchase of specialized electronic parts and tools, and plans purchases of medical apparatus and equipment.

 The department cooperates with users in the scope of planned purchases and rational use of already owned equipment, supervises the implementation of programs and projects related to the purchase of medical equipment, its delivery and implementation for use.

 The task of the department is to complete the documentation related to the medical equipment owned; participation in tender and acceptance committees of purchased equipment.
