The Department of Nephrology and Internal Diseases deals with the diagnosis and treatment of kidney and urinary tract diseases, kidney damage in the course of other systemic diseases, and the diagnosis and treatment of arterial hypertension.

 The Dialysis Station deals with the treatment of acute and chronic renal failure with hemodialysis, initial qualification for kidney transplantation and treatment with peritoneal dialysis.

 

The services provided by the department include in particular diagnostics and treatment of: 

 diseases of the kidneys and urinary tract,

 kidney damage in the course of other systemic diseases,

 acute and chronic renal failure,

 complications of renal replacement therapy,

 treatment of complications after organ transplantation,

 hemodialysis treatments,

 high blood pressure.
